This bike rack is solid and heavy, but it's about the same weight as competitors, but has a higher weight capacity. The company was great with communication. We use it behind our travel trailer and van. With the 8 bike rack the optional integrated support straps added a huge amount of stability. Would highly recommend, especially with a travel trailer where the forces put on the rack and hitch are huge. The optional anti-rattle hitch pin and stabilizer provided additional stability.
