Our team background includes 10+ years each of mechanical engineering, custom fabrication, manufacturing technology, and professional experience in the bike industry.  We're all very particular about our gear, and as outdoor enthusiasts, we design and build what we want to use.

The stabilizer anchors allow you to attach the two ends of the upper crossbar to your vehicle rack or rails for added stability via our optional stabilizer straps.

The foot activated tilt latch system keeps the rack upright while you install or remove the safety pin.  Once the safety pin is removed simply activate the latch to allow the rack to be lowered.  When raising the rack, the latch will automatically catch when the rack is fully upright and ready for the safety pin to be reinstalled.

All MTNtek racks work with or without foot activated tilt latch system.

The foot activated tilt latch system does not replace the safety pin.  Never transport bikes without the safety pin installed.
